Customers having a party often ask, ‘Where can I buy an affordable party costume for my child?” There are many affordable options, some may already be in your child’s wardrobe. Here are some simple suggestions.<\/p>\n

Charlee Cheerleader<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Buy a plain white t-shirt, put the child’s name on the front using either iron on letters or make your own letters from iron on felt. Then put their age number on the back. (Available from all good material shops such as Spotlight and Lincraft.) Wear any skirt and match socks to hair ribbons. Voila, a perfect little cheerleader!<\/p>\n

Honey Hip Hop<\/strong><\/span>
\nWe have seen many hip hop birthday kids looking fabulous at parties we have had the pleasure of hosting! Some of the best hip hop looks we have seen include big chunky necklaces (even a fantastic edible Fruit Tingles necklace), funky Red Foo style glasses and cool mesh gloves. Here is an idea of an inexpensive homemade Hip Hop outfit: A pair of harem pants, patterned or plain, sweat pants would work too. A florescent singlet top and some converse shoes (Kmart and Target sell cheap versions of these). To top the look off, throw on a cap sideways or sequined Hip Hop hat that can be purchased from many $2 shops! Just remember whatever outfit your child is in needs to be comfy, and easy to move in!<\/p>\n

Anna Ballerina<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

For affordable leotards, ballet skirts and ballet slippers, go to places like Kmart, BigW and Target. If a tutu is more your child\u2019s thing, Cotton On Kids sell some gorgeous tulle skirts and matching tops and you can pick up a tutu from Best and Less for under $30. Be sure to write on your invitations that you would like everyone dressed in their best ballet outfit, or you can use our invitations that can be found on \u2018Our Packages<\/a>\u2019 page which encourages everyone to dress up. Some parents like to provide a few extra ballet skirts, tutus and tiaras in a basket for their guests to wear if some kids need some extra encouragement to step (or twirl) into the magical world of Classical Ballet.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
